OK, well maybe going to the dentist will always take some time, but you shouldn’t have to wait forever to see the result of your X-Rays. My dentist uses digital dental radiography, which is a process in which the X-Rays are taken and immediately scanned into a computer, getting rid of the time spent waiting for the film to develop. I love this system because it decreases the time spent anxiously waiting to find out if there is anything wrong with my teeth. I’m already anxious enough when I’m in the chair, I don’t need any more anxiety thank you very much. I have heard that more and more dentists are moving to this method, and I’m glad to hear it. It is the technological age, and advances like this are what keeps the quality of life improving, so I say it is a great idea to embrace new and innovative ideas such as this one.
